A part of being blessed more than I deserve, is being able to buy things that add to my quality of life. One of those things was a golf cart. It showed up on Facebook marketplace (of course), and at a really good price. This isn't my cart but it looked exactly like this one. It's a 2016 Club Car Precedent.
There were lots of things I didn't know about having a golf cart and let me tell you I almost ruined the damn thing a year in. Apparently it's important to water the batteries. Well to me, electricity and water don't go together so I was clueless! I was saved by a video on Youtube telling me exactly what to do and it worked! After I had it serviced and got a speed sensor replaced :).
We use it to get around the neighborhood, give rides back and forth to the pool etc. I wanted to give it an upgrade since this thing isn't used on the golf course at all. Painting was a no-go, a new body kit was a lot cheaper and it came with new front and tail lights, and a horn. I was thrilled! Next I added new seat covers and arm rests which cost about $200. I got everything from Amazon; Nokins front seat covers , back seat covers and armrests. Install was super easy and it came out looking fantastic!
The one hang up tho, I could not find anywhere how to remove the rear bench seat cushion from the golf cart. I eventually grabbed a hammer and found the answer! Video here , and you can see the final cart on my Facebook. So live it up ya'll!
